  1. Thank you Jean, what dies are they? I think the flower in the second to last is by Marianne but don't recognise the others.

  2. They are by Memory Box, they come from America, but there is a seller now on e-bay and they are cheaper than any others, very good, metal andthey cut perfectly every time and no bits to pick out...lol...I love them and will certainly get some more...I tried to get on your scrapbook post but the darned error kept coming up, what I was going to ask you have you tried the cover that fits on the promarkers to make afiner line, I have some now and dashed if I can get them to click on so wondered if you managed it ...love Jean xx

  5. Yes you need to press the nib on very hard. They are very good though once you get them on.

Are the dies expensive, cheaper than Marianne? I think they can be a bit expensive.

  6. sorry me again just had a quick peep on GR Im not a member anymore so came back here - I notice you were chatting about Marianne dies and picking the bits out - the solution to them is cut out using wax paper first - although I have never tried Ive read it a lot - What works for me with these diesa and any others with fiddly bits is I put mine through machine to cut then turn it sideways and pop through again and bits that do remain I pop out with a cocktail stick xx

  8. Thanks for that Jan, they can be a bit of a pain. What a shame you are not on GR any more, we miss you on the thread. If Jean leaves as promised it will gradually die the death as there will be so few of us on there.

  9. try turning it and pop it back through your cutter - I have a fancy nestie cutter I was sooooo upset as even gently pushing the bits out always broke - now its a breeze :-)

  13. no i mean pop it through your machine and then turn die and pop through again - hard to explain say you were cutting butterfly pop through so wings are at top then pop through again so wings are on side does that make sense?

  17. Aah, light bulb moment. When you have cut the die, leave the paper in the die and run it through again sideways on?
