Thank you so much:o))

Jo Jo...thank you so much for lovely remarks about my quilt:o))
The altered book...l have just sent grandsons off in the post, but here is one before l started. l bought about 6 of these in a charity shop, they measure 3 1/4" sq and l just covered them with coloured paper, then added photo's and decorated them with sequins, glitter, etc, nothing special but the g/children love them. Grandaughter looks through and makes up a story:o) As they are made of card you can't close them once finished. l have another to make for grandaughter which will take me an age knowing me, will show you when finished...lol
The quilt has been a very slow process (18mths...grr), lam now on the middle larger panel and l'm pleased so far, will send a photo when done!

A message from Jo Jo

Sent to me to add as she is unable to do so herself.

Love all Sallys cards especially the first one,
Jude your stitching is fabulous and love the quilt you are making, lovely idea.
Are you going to post pictures of your altered books, I love to see them, have not done one myself but have seen a few and they are so full of ideas.
Ann your scrapbook pages are gorgeous, really ought to try making a scrapbook myself, just need a few more hours in the day!!
Hugs Jo xx

Sally your christmas cards are lovely. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Some of Sallie's cards

I hope this works.

2 scrap book pages Batsford

Two pages taken at Batsford Arboretum in March 2010.  We love to go there when the snowdrops, Aconites and Helebores are out. Sorry the second page is slightly blurred, the light is a bit too low for photos indoors without flash today, and flash would 'bounce' off the photos.
