snow dying silk by Von


Photos the wrong way round. First one is the finished silk dyed. Second one shows the snow piled on the silk

      Chilling the dye concentrates by mixing them with snow causes some dyes to separate into their component colors, and makes the dyes strike the fabric at different rates.

      I used turquoise,royal blue and yellow.
      I think next time I would use more contrasting colours
